Today we went to the Childrens Museum of Denver. I can’t believe we haven’t been before. Small replicas of grocery stores, vets, etc. that the kids can play in. BUT…Saturday was an absolute zoo. We’ll go back during the week for sure. Hudson really took to the vet section. It was hysterical, he sat at the “appointment” desk, gave dogs shots, looked at their x-rays. Amelia kept gathering up all the pets and then passing them out to other kids. Too cute.
Afterwards we went to one of the oldest restaurants in Denver, Casa Bonita. It is also one of the oddest places. It’s huge, it seats over 1000 people at a time, has multiple floors and features strolling mariachis, flame jugglers, a 30-foot waterfall with cliff divers. It also has a small puppet theater, a “haunted tunnel” an arcade, a magic theater and kids rides. It was really interesting!
